The Senior Prefects Induction Ceremony is one of the most noteworthy events in our school’s calendar. It marks the official appointment of student leaders who will serve as role models, uphold the school’s values, and contribute to maintaining discipline and unity among their peers.
This year’s ceremony was a moment of pride, inspiration, and commitment, as the newly appointed senior prefects took their pledge to serve with dedication.
The event commenced with a solemn yet vibrant atmosphere. Teachers, students, and parents of the prefects gathered to witness this prestigious occasion. The Director and the school principal addressed the assembly, emphasizing the importance of leadership, integrity, and teamwork. In their speeches, they reminded the newly appointed prefects that leadership is not about authority but about service, responsibility, and setting a positive example.
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the prefects’ oath-taking. Led by the School captain , the senior prefects raised their right hands and solemnly pledged to uphold the school’s rules, assist their fellow students, and work together for the betterment of the school community. This symbolic act reinforced their commitment to leading with fairness, diligence, and respect.
Following the oath, each prefect was called forward to receive their official badge, marking their transition into leadership roles. The directress and the principals pinned the badges with pride, signifying the trust placed in these students to guide the school with responsibility and integrity.
The newly appointed Head Prefect and Deputy Head Prefects were also introduced, receiving special recognition for their leadership roles.
The outgoing Head Prefect, Raushaan Ibrahim Rushdy delivered a heartfelt speech, sharing her experiences, challenges, and the lessons learned throughout her tenure. She encouraged the new prefects to lead with humility and resilience. In response, the newly appointed Head Prefect, Riushaan Ibraheem Rushdy expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve and assured the school community of their dedication to fostering a positive and disciplined environment.
The ceremony concluded with a round of applause and best wishes for the new prefects. As they stepped into their leadership roles, they carried with them the responsibility of setting an example for their peers, maintaining discipline, and supporting the school’s growth.
